A metal frame denture is a removable partial denture designed to replace missing teeth while utilizing a custom-fitted metal framework for strength and precision. This prosthesis attaches securely to the remaining natural teeth and is commonly indicated when several, but not all, teeth are missing in one arch.
Treatment begins with a clinical examination, dental impressions, and bite registration. A metal framework is fabricated in our dental laboratory based on the patient's dental arch, to which artificial teeth are attached using acrylic resin. After a trial fitting, the denture is adjusted and delivered for full function and comfort.
The final restoration provides a stable, long-lasting solution for tooth loss, with improved chewing efficiency, speech, and esthetics. Metal frame dentures fit more precisely and are generally thinner and more comfortable than acrylic partials.
